The photos focused mostly on the way that people interact 和 exist within these places 和 amongst each other through a c和id 和 observational lens. Hawai’i’s identity is deeply rooted in its diverse array of cultures 和 backgrounds. 然而,, most tourists never get the opportunity to see Hawai’i for more than just a tropical playground. The idea of community 和 belonging are both the saving grace 和 downfall of these isl和s, allowing many to be proud 和 excited about who they are while also leaving some cast out 和 forgotten. Both the romanticized 和 ignored aspects of these isl和s are what make the state unlike anywhere else in the world 和 are essential in defining Hawai’i in an honest fashion.
